During our school day today, Skylar and I were learning about the first settlers in Jamestown. We talked about their crops, how hard they had to work and who contributed. When I asked him what part women may have played and what they were good at (looking for answers like, making clothes, cooking, etc.), he said without skipping a beat, "they are good at scrapbooking". I couldn't help but laugh.
