Fishers of Men

It was just me and my boys in class last night. The lesson was about Jesus calling the disciples and giving your all to be on God's team. We talked about how the disciples had to leave their family, friends, home and jobs to follow Jesus, and how hard that might have been. We talked about how Jesus took care of them and gave them a better job as fishers of men. Skylar looked stunned when he realized, that is exactly what Jesus did for him and our family. They had to leave their friends, family and home to answer the call too. He called us to be a fishers of men in Indiana.

It has been very difficult for the boys at times, but they amaze me with how well they have adapted. Even when they are the only two children in class every wednesday night, they are happy to learn and be a part of this church body. They are praying for more friends to come to church on Wednesdays. I'm very proud of them and the men of God they are becoming. I am blessed!
