A Lesson for Santa

It's September and the boys are already getting excited about Christmas coming. They have been listening to Christmas music and asking us to read Christmas stories. Tonight at bedtime, Skylar begged me to read "The Night Before Christmas". Both boys sat so still and looked at the pictures as I read. When I got to the part about Santa's pipe and how the smoke encircled his head like a wreath, Skylar pointed at the picture and said, "if he were here right now I would slap it out of his mouth so he could breathe and not end up dead". I have a feeling the Mall Santa will be getting a lecture this year.
