When we got home from church tonight, Sky got out of the van and started staring at the moon. I asked him if he was ok and what he was thinking about. He said, "I'm worried about Santa. I don't think he's going to come to our town this year." Not wanting to have this conversation already, I hesitantly asked, "why Sky?" "Because he'll probably eat too many cookies, and hobble and fall off the sleigh...I'm really worried about that. And what if he can't fit down a chimney?"
All I could do is sigh and wonder if I should use the opportunity to talk about good eating habits. Instead, I reassured him that all is well and that come December, Santa will be here with bells on:)
