Skylar taught Evan how to ride his bike today without training wheels. He was excited but very reserved about allowing himself to be proud of his accomplishment. See, he isn't completely perfect at it yet and refuses to say he can ride his bike even though he is zipping around and making me nervous! He gets frustrated when he loses balance or if his foot slips off the pedals. We were all cheering for him but he wouldn't hear it. Skylar was so sweet in trying to encourage his brother. He told him, "I finally learned when I was 8 and you are doing it at 5!" Ron offered to take Evan out to celebrate but he said no. We finally convinced him that he needs to celebrate his accomplishment, so Evan chose to go see Yogi Bear. I do believe he will be up first thing in the morning, begging me to let him go outside:)
